Step 2. Add a Thumbnail
Using Canva, or similar, create a 1920x1080 jpeg image, to put into YouTube as your Thumbnail. This only needs to include basic information and makes your mix look eye catching.
Canva has plenty of templates to choose from.

Step 3. Add Hashtags and Tags
Include your own hashtags and tags, plus some recommended ones relating to the event, to help your mix stand out.
Tags - @dmcdjchamps
Hashtag - #DMC40tokyo #DMCWorldFinals #DJchamps #DJBattle #vrdjchampionship #tribexr #dj #[genre]
Step 4. Include Your Track List
This is good practice within the music industry to support original artists in getting paid for their work. In YouTube, you can even ‘Time Stamp’ these according to where the track changes. Add to the end of your description box.
For track list only, the layout should look like this:
TRACK LIST:
Artists - Track Title
Artists - Track Title
Artists - Track Title
Artists - Track Title
For Time Stamped Track List, the layout should look like this:
Timestamps:
0:00 Artists - Track Title
0:24 Artists - Track Tittle
2:42 Artists - Track Tittle
4:01 Artists - Track Tittle
5:36 Artists - Track Tittle
NB: YouTube will pick this up and automatically add markers on the time line. This does take a bit of time and may not show right away.
