Fixing Seams & Non-loop Videos

If your video does not loop,

Fixing Edge Seams

Sometimes, downloaded visuals are not the correct size (4096 × 2048 px), we end up with a line behind us - you can fix it in Canva.

Steps

  1. Open Canva
  2. Click Create Design
  3. Choose Custom Size
  4. Set size to 4096 × 2048 px
  5. Import the image or video
  6. Stretch to fit

If the sides end up being cut off, you will end up with a miss-match behind you. But you can move that to the front of you.

  1. Duplicate the video.
  2. Place each to one side of the canvas, with the middle of the image exactly on the edges.

💡 Why this works

The front camera view shows behind you.

Moving the seam to the front centre hides the mismatch.

Creating Looping Videos

Looping videos work best in the Videosphere.

If a video does not loop naturally, you can create a loop.

Step 1 - Reverse the Video

Use this free tool:

Videobolt Online

Steps:

  1. Upload your video
  2. Reverse the video
  3. Download the reversed version

This creates a version that plays backwards.

Step 2 - Combine in Canva

  1. Open your project in Canva
  2. Click Create Design
  3. Choose Custom Size
  4. Set size to 4096 × 2048 px
  5. Add the original video as Scene 1
  6. Add a second scene
  7. Place the reversed video in Scene 2

Now the video will:

  • play forward
  • then play backwards

This creates a smooth loop inside Tribe.

Step 3 - Export

Export the project as:

MP4 Video

Download the entire project, not just one scene.

💡 Tip

This works best with environment footage or abstract visuals.
