What is it?
The inaugural VRDJ World Championship 2025 is a worldwide, online DJ competition presented by Tribe XR, hosted by DMC. This event challenges DJs to showcase their skills using only virtual reality equipment, with the winner being officially announced at the DMC 40 World Championships in Tokyo.
How do I participate?
- Use Tribe XR to participate
- Performances must be 5-7 minutes in length
- Express yourself creatively—significant emphasis on creativity and storytelling in your mix

What can I win?
The winner of the inaugural VRDJ World Championship will be announced at DMC40 in Tokyo on October 11th 2025. They will also receive the following prizes:
- AlphaTheta DJ Controller with a unique skin (model TBA)
