TRIBE XR X DMC: VRDJ WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
OFFICIAL RULES NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
1. INTRODUCTION These terms and conditions (these "Terms and Conditions") govern your ("you", "your", or "Entrant") participation in the 'VRDJ World Championship Contest' (the "Contest") operated by Tribe XR with select Prizes (as defined below) provided by Tribe XR. By entering the Contest, you agree that you have read these terms and agree to be bound by them. Please read carefully, as these terms form a binding legal agreement between you and Tribe XR.
2. ENTRY PERIOD The Contest consists of certain phases as set forth below:
Submissions for the Contest (each, an "Entry", collectively, the "Entries") will be accepted during a specified Entry Period. The official Entry Period and due date will be announced on the official contest website. Entries received before or after the Entry Period will not be accepted or eligible to win.
3. ELIGIBILITY
This Contest is open to the world. There are no age restrictions for this Contest. This Contest is not valid where prohibited by law. In addition, this Contest is not open to: (a) employees of Tribe XR, DMC, or any of the companies offering a prize for the Contest, any advertising, promotion, production or publicity agency doing business with any of the above, or any of their respective parents, subsidiaries, and affiliated companies, or any member of the immediate family or individual living in the same household of such employees (whether related or not) or anyone connected with the administration of the Contest ; or, (b) any Entrant currently engaged in a contractual agreement (verbal or written) which would prohibit said Entrant from participating and entering into the Contest.
Tribe XR may prohibit any Entrant from participating in or winning the Contest if, in Tribe XR's sole discretion, Tribe XR determines the Entrant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest by (i) cheating, deceiving, or utilizing other unfair practices; (ii) violating the Rules; (iii) refusing to accept any prizes or complete any obligations therefor; (iv) submitting an Entry which violates the copyright of another ; or (v) acting in any disruptive manner during, or after, the Contest. By submitting an Entry, the Entrant accepts the terms of these Terms and Conditions and agrees to be bound by the decisions of the Judges (as defined below), which will be final.
4. HOW TO ENTER To enter this Contest, you must submit a link to your original VRDJ video recording (.mp4 format) of five (5) to seven (7) minutes in length through the official contest website: contest.tribexr.com (the "Contest Web Page") during the Entry Period ("Entry") to be considered a valid Entry. Each Entrant may enter only once. Multiple submissions by any one Entrant will be cause for disqualification. Tribe XR is not responsible for any changes or effects caused to the Entrant's computer system as a result of a submission of an Entry.
B. General Rules
- The competition is worldwide in scope.
- Contestants must be age 13+
- There are no registration fees for competing DJs.
- Contestants must use Tribe XR virtual equipment only. All available virtual equipment within the Tribe XR application is fair game.
- Tribe XR reserves the right to modify rules for competition integrity.
C. Judging Criteria Judges will score each submission based on the following criteria:
- Technical Skill - 30%
- Creativity / Storytelling - 30%
- Stage Presence, Visual Presentation - 20%
- Equipment Utilization - 20%
D. Online Submission Guidelines
- Edited videos are prohibited—all performances must be a single, non-stop recording.
- The use of any external graphics, logos, or signage is not allowed in the video.
- Video format should be 16:9 ratio and Full HD (1920x1080 px). Direct audio is highly recommended.
- Submissions with excessively poor audio or video quality will negatively impact judging results.
- Submissions must comply with YouTube's community guidelines.
- Banned content, including nudity, pornography, or explicit visuals, will result in a competition ban.
- Tribe XR reserves the right to remove any inappropriate entries.
E. Prizes The winner of the inaugural VRDJ World Championship will receive the following prizes:
- AlphaTheta DJ Controller with a unique skin (model TBA)
- Tribe Swag Package
- Tribe Lifetime Membership
All prizes are subject to availability and may be substituted with an alternate prize of equal value if necessary. No substitution, cash redemption, or transfer of the prizes by the Winner(s) is permitted. Any taxes owed as a result of winning are the sole responsibility of the Winner(s).

5. JUDGING CRITERIA
From all Entries submitted during the Entry Period, Tribe XR will adhere to the following selection process:
a) Upon the conclusion of the Entry Period, Tribe XR shall then elect a panel of judges (the "Judges") who will select a total of two (2) Finalists
b) Judges will decide a winner from these two finalist entries based on the criteria listed above.
b) Tribe XR shall announce the Winner via Tribe XR's officially branded social media platforms on or about a specified date (the "Winner Announcement Date").
6. NOTIFICATION OF WINNER The Winner(s) will be contacted on or around the Winner Announcement Date at the email address provided upon submission of the Entry to the Contest Website. If Winner(s) fails to respond to Tribe XR's attempt to contact Winner(s) within forty-eight (48) hours, Winner(s) may forfeit their right to receive the Prizes. By accepting the Prizes, Winners hereby grant Tribe XR and DMC the sub-licensable, gratis right to use their their name(s), image(s), likeness(es), and other biographical material(s) provided by them ("Name & Likeness") in connection with any advertising, promotion and publicity related to the Contest and the Festival (including future iterations thereof), and for any other lawful purpose.
7. RELEASE AND INDEMNITY It is expressly understood that Tribe XR is under no obligation to you other than as expressly set forth in these Terms and Conditions. Tribe XR shall not be responsible for any damages, taxes, or expenses that any Winner(s) may incur as a result of this Contest or receipt of the Prizes. You agree to release, indemnify, defend and hold harmless Tribe XR, its respective licensees, franchisees, affiliates, parent companies, subsidiaries, successors and their respective directors, officers, employees, and advertising and production agencies from all claims, losses, liabilities and demands arising out of or in connection with (i) your participation in the Contest, (ii) your acceptance, possession, or use of the Prizes, and, without limiting the generality of the above, from any loss of or damage to property or injury or death to any person while using the Prizes or participating in the Contest, or (iv) any claim that your Entry or Tribe XR's use, distribution or commercialization of the Entry violates any copyright, intellectual property right or other proprietary right of any party.
8. DATA PROTECTION AND PUBLICITY For the Contest, Tribe XR is the data controller of any personal data collected. Tribe XR will not disclose any personal data relating to Entrants without consent to third parties unless the third party is for a permitted company purpose. Personal data will be retained by Tribe XR for a reasonable and proportionate period after the Contest closes to allow Tribe XR to manage queries on this Contest. Tribe XR shall take reasonable steps and technical measures by using security software to prevent personal data from being misused.
9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY Tribe XR reserves the right to cancel or modify the Contest (or any portion thereof) if fraud, misconduct or technical failures destroy the integrity of the Contest or if a computer virus, bug, or other technical problem corrupts the administration, security, or proper administration of the Contest, as determined by Tribe XR, in its sole discretion. Entrant may be requested to provide Tribe XR with proof that the Entrant is the authorized producer of the submitted track. Tribe XR reserves the right to prohibit the participation of an individual if fraud or tampering is suspected, or if the individual fails to comply with any requirement of participation as stated herein or with any provision in these Rules.
10. PRIVACY By entering the Contest, you grant your express permission to be contacted by Tribe XR via email, or any other Tribe XR-branded social channels. By participating in the Contest, you hereby acknowledge and agree that Tribe XR may collect and use the personal information submitted by you to administer the Contest pursuant to Tribe XR's Privacy Policy.
12. MODIFICATION OR WAIVER Only an authorized officer of Tribe XR shall have the right to modify or amend these Terms and Conditions. As such, Tribe XR reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions for any reason, or no reason at all, at any time. Likewise, Tribe XR reserves the right in their sole discretion to cancel or suspend the Contest at any time for any reason, or no reason at all.
13. MISCELLANEOUS You agree that: (i) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with the Contest or the Prizes awarded shall be resolved individually, without resorting to any form of class action. You waive any right to a jury trial in any forum in respect to any issue, claim or cause of action arising out of or based on the subject matter hereof. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Terms and Conditions, or the rights and obligations of you, or Tribe XR, in connection with the Contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the jurisdiction specified by Tribe XR without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules. The Contest is void where prohibited, restricted or regulated by law. You hereby represent and warrant that you have read these Terms and Conditions and are fully familiar with the contents.
